Mr. Umesh Pandey

After completing post-graduation in Mathematics and B.Ed. I started my career as Science and Mathematics teacher in G.I.C Almora from 1989. In 1999 I became Lecturer in Mathematics. I worked in G.I.C. Manan, G.I.C. Dinapani and G.I.C. Dhokaney as Mathematics lecturer. After that I worked as Principal at G.I.C. Paudahr and G.I.C. Syalidhar Almora. My journey as a teacher remained very enjoying. Learning, discussing and working on Mathematics was my passion. I learned a lot from my seniors and I discussed a lot with my juniors. I got ample opportunities to do academic work for state like book writing or developing teaching modules and working as key resource person. I attained many national workshops in NCERT and IGNOU. I also got opportunity to work as GLOBE master trainer in country. It was an American programme.
Teaching is a beautiful occupation as one side we prepare new generation for future and same time learns a lot from new books/society/fellow teachers/students/ A.I and other means/medias. I think we should try to comprehend the subject matter theoretically and practically. If we succeed to do it then can apply our knowledge to construct new things. So for attaining this goal we try to discuss with students a lot and motivate students to continuously ask questions. We also organize a doubt session time to time in school so that students could raise their general doubts, teachers reciprocates. This process ultimately produce questioning students. Now as a head of institution I try to generalize this practice to all students of the school.
