Three decades in forging my professional pathway has etched this aphorism for me, "Every child can learn. Every teacher can inspire. Every school can transform lives." This living adage has shaped every initiative I have undertaken, as a Mathematics Teacher, Academic Head, Teacher Educator, Author, Mentor and Educational Leader. More recently, I have incorporated Artificial Intelligence, Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) into classroom practices to personalise learning and improve student motivation. To institutionalise teacher leadership, VidyaVriksh, my brainchild, founded as a platform dedicated to teacher’s professional development and educational leadership. Having edited and reviewed over 30 educational books, of serving as a reviewer and subject expert, contributing to NCERT review initiatives, developing Open Educational Resources under CBSE CEMCA Common Wealth Education Media Centre for Asia projects. Mentor in the SheLEADS Programme of the CEMCA, I had the privilege of nurturing young girls from underprivileged communities across India.I conceptualised and organised MY MARATHON. It was a journey of self discovery. I regularly conduct Yoga and mindfulness sessions for students and teachers, particularly on International Yoga Day to promote emotional balance and resilience. I am currently authoring "The Bhagavad Gita Through the Lens of NLP ", which interprets the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita through Neurolinguistic Programming. Alongside my Doctorate in Mathematics and MBA in HR, I have kept myself updated with latest trends in technology and I am a certified Life Coach and NLP practitioner. My commitment to educational excellence and metamorphosis has been recognised through several prestigious honours: The National Teachers Awards, BOLT Award by Air India, the Innovative Teacher Award by the Patrika Group, the Best Teacher Award, and the Certificate of Commitment from the World Book of Records. I have contributed to knowledge dissemination and intellectual engagement as a Quiz Master for Collins India and Rotary Club, fostering curiosity, critical thinking and a spirit of lifelong learning. As an Editor of a scientific journal and a Columnist for Ad Age Times, I have promoted scientific temper, educational innovation and informed public discourse. My vision is to establish a nationwide movement for teacher leadership, joyful Mathematics, holistic education, Indian Knowledge Systems, emotional wellbeing and innovative pedagogy, empowering educators to become catalysts of educational transformation. If a student learns, one life changes. If a teacher grows, hundreds of lives change. If a school transforms, an entire community changes. Education is not merely about creating successful individuals it is about building a stronger, wiser and more compassionate India.
