Mrs. Iyer Revathy Rajaram is a distinguished educator, mentor, and leader whose illustrious career of more than three decades with KVS exemplifies academic excellence, innovation, and service. A recipient of the National Award for Best Teacher (2019), she has consistently demonstrated diligence, creativity, and sterling qualities of head and heart, inspiring generations of learners and educators alike.
Her journey is marked by pioneering contributions to pedagogy and curriculum development. She played a pivotal role in designing the teacher friendly CCE calendar, convened study material for Classes X and XII, and served as Master Trainer for NCERT Class VI textbooks. Her extensive book reviews and e content development enriched Hindi pedagogy nationwide. Her ICT project was shortlisted for a national competition, while her internationally recognized project “2012 – Can the Earth Survive?” and her NCERT research paper on Behavioral Modifications through Non Scholastic Areas of Schooling reflect her commitment to holistic and innovative education.
Beyond academics, she has excelled in sports and communication, being a district basketball captain and university elocution champion. She convened high profile national programs, including visits of dignitaries such as the German President and HRD Minister, and coordinated three National Sports Meets. Her leadership extended to roles as NAEP nodal trainer, CBSE coordinator, regional trainer for safety and security of the girl child, and member of guidance and counseling committees.
Her excellence has been recognized globally with the Global Inspirational Woman Award (2022 & 2025), Karnataka Women Achievers Award (2023), KVS National Incentive Award, and the India Time Prime Award for Top 100 Teachers (2021). She was also nominated as Brand Ambassador for Bangalore Region during the International Year of Chemistry (2011), Presently, she serves as Global Leader with Grace Ladies Global Alliance, USA, and as National Mentor under the National Mission for Mentoring, guiding educators across India.
