Professional Journey & Educational Vision
Over two decades as a Graduate Mathematics Teacher at PUMS Kilariyam, a rural government middle school in Thiruvarur District, Tamil Nadu, my mission has been singular: eliminate mathematics anxiety, bridge the digital divide for first-generation rural learners, and establish an inclusive, joyful, and future-ready classroom ecosystem.

My educational philosophy rests on the conviction that abstract logic must be grounded in joyful, hands-on experiences before transitioning into formal symbols, and that modern technology must serve as an equalizer rather than a barrier.

Pedagogical Practices & Classroom Innovation
To make mathematics intuitive, I design zero-cost experiential methodologies centered on the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract (CPA) framework:

Tactile & Kinesthetic Pedagogy: Engineered the Biscuit Matrix to visually prove Pythagoras' Theorem using grid paper and biscuits, the Multiplication Dance to turn rote tables into physical rhythm, and the Counter-Balance Token Game for signed integer operations.

Math Folklore & Ethnomathematics: Composed concept songs set to traditional Tamil ragas (The Quadrilateral Family Song) and narrative arcs (The Five Commanders) to help students naturally visualize the expansion of number systems.

FOSS & Open Tech Integration: Embed dynamic tools—including GeoGebra, RoboCompass, Desmos, and OpenBoard—into daily instruction, alongside mobile EvalBee OMR scanning for instant diagnostic remediation.
AI-Assisted Evaluation: Developed the Thiran Test Certificate portal to evaluate foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) skills with automated student certifications.
Competitive Scholarship Success: Guided 6 rural students at PUMS Kilariyam to secure NMMS scholarships. As Thiruvarur District In-charge for the EQUIP initiative, my tracking elevated the district’s state NMMS ranking from 30th (2023) to 18th (2025).
Civic & Experiential Growth: Instituted model Student Council Elections to teach democracy, and personally sponsored commercial flight tickets for underprivileged NMMS scholars to dismantle socio-economic self-limitations.
State & National Scale Dissemination
Authored 860+ interactive GeoGebra applets linked via QR codes in Tamil Nadu state textbooks (DIKSHA).

Trained and certified 2,000+ educators via a 60-lesson Spoken Tutorial series and built the Karkandu Kanitham teacher network (3,000+ members).
As a National Resource Person for CIET-NCERT and National Mentor (NMM), author NEP 2020 AR/VR storyboards, , and deliver live broadcasts on AI integration.
