Dr. Asha Rani is a National Teacher Awardee (2024), State Teacher Awardee (2022), researcher, author, and PGT Sanskrit with over a decade of dedicated service in school education. Her mission is to make Sanskrit a living, joyful, and relevant language while nurturing ethical values, critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong learning among students.
She has introduced several innovative pedagogical practices that integrate Sanskrit with students' mother tongue, music, storytelling, experiential learning, digital technology, and Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS). Her classroom emphasizes active participation, collaboration, inclusivity, and real-life application rather than rote learning. These innovations have significantly improved student engagement, learning outcomes, and interest in Sanskrit.
Dr. Asha Rani has contributed extensively to teacher training, curriculum enrichment, educational research, and academic workshops at the state and national levels. She regularly mentors teachers, develops teaching-learning resources, lesson plans, and assessment tools aligned with NEP 2020, competency-based education, and experiential pedagogy.
As an author, she has written books and educational resources promoting Sanskrit, Indian culture, moral values, and educational innovation. She strongly believes that education should not merely prepare students for examinations but should develop responsible, compassionate, culturally rooted, and globally competent citizens.
Her vision is to build classrooms where every learner feels confident, curious, and inspired. By blending India's rich knowledge traditions with modern educational practices, she seeks to make learning meaningful, enjoyable, and transformative for every child while empowering teachers to become lifelong learners and agents of positive social change.

Innovations & Projects
- Developed innovative Sanskrit teaching methods by integrating local languages, songs, storytelling and activity-based learning. Authored textbooks and learning materials for JCERT, Jharkhand government schools. Created value-based and IKS-integrated teaching modules aligned with NEP 2020. Conducted teacher training as Resource Person/DRP in DIET, JCERT, CCRT and CIET-NCERT programmes. Mentored teachers, promoted experiential learning, and achieved consistently excellent student outcomes through innovative classroom practices.

- Author of the book Sanskrit: Sanskar Aur Naitik Mulyon Ka Preranasrot (ISBN: 978-93-6431-522-7). Authored several Sanskrit textbooks, Modules, workbooks and learning resources published by JCERT for government school students across Jharkhand. Presented research papers at national and international seminars. Served as Resource Person/DRP in DIET, JCERT, CCRT and CIET-NCERT teacher training programmes on innovative Sanskrit pedagogy, Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) and value-based education.
