Mr. Brajesh Kumar Jadon

I began my professional journey with the Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) Education Department in July 1995 as a Teacher at an MCD School in Dilshad Garden, O-Block. Guided by the belief that duty is a form of worship, I have devoted my career to the sincere, dedicated, and holistic development of children.
My contribution to education has been recognized through the Zonal Award (2005), Nigam Award (2007), Tech Mahindra Teacher Award (2010), and State Teacher Award (2011). The most distinguished milestone of my teaching career was receiving the National Teachers’ Award for 2015–2016, presented by the then Hon’ble President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.
I have had the privilege of collaborating with DIET, SCERT Delhi, and NCERT Delhi on various academic initiatives and contributing to textbooks, Teachers’ Manuals, Meri Delhi, Mera Bharat, Hamari Duniya, and other educational resources. Following the National Award, I was deputed to the Education Department Headquarters, where I successfully undertook academic and administrative responsibilities.
In 2023, I was promoted as Principal and posted at MCD School, Kardampuri (Girls), Shahdara, North Zone, Delhi. Through strong collaboration among teachers, parents, community organizations, and stakeholders, the school was recognized as the Best School of Shahdara North Zone in 2023 and the Best MCD School in 2024. It has also received the Vidyanjali Award consecutively for two years.
I continue to contribute at the national level as a Subject Matter Expert on NCERT’s official PM eVIDYA channel, conducting live academic sessions for students across India. I take immense pride in my students’ achievements in academics, sports, merit-based competitions, co-curricular activities, and admissions to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas.
My educational philosophy is rooted in holistic development—nurturing not only academic excellence but also confidence, creativity, discipline, values, leadership, and social responsibility. I remain deeply committed to empowering children through meaningful education and serving MCD schools with passion, purpose, and unwavering dedication.
