National CSR Meet for School Education through Vidyanjali
The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 underscores the importance of community participation and meaningful partnerships with the private sector in strengthening school education. In this spirit, the Vidyanjali initiative of the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, provides a structured platform for corporates, CSR partners, volunteers and other stakeholders to support government schools through relevant services and assets.
1. Corporate participation in education has grown significantly over the years. Data reported by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs indicate that CSR expenditure under the Education sector increased from ₹6,719.89 crore in FY 2021–22 to ₹10,414.93 crore in FY 2022–23 and ₹12,134.57 crore in FY 2023–24, representing an increase of approximately 81% over two years. This presents an important opportunity to connect the growing commitment of the corporate sector with the genuine and clearly identified needs of government schools.

2. Vidyanjali offers a reliable, structured and school-based mechanism for identifying and matching the requirements of government schools with willing contributors. Through need-based contributions in the form of assets and services, the platform enables CSR partners to identify meaningful opportunities, build local partnerships and direct their support towards practical educational requirements articulated by schools.

3. To further strengthen industry and community participation in school education, the Department is organising the National CSR Meet for School Education through Vidyanjali on 31st October, 2026.

4. The Meet will provide an opportunity for corporate CSR leaders and education stakeholders to exchange experiences, discuss effective partnership models, understand school-level requirements and explore avenues for strengthening corporate engagement through Vidyanjali.

1. Try to connect with maximum stakeholders at tell about PATF.
2. Connect with CSR partners and note down their contacts, what they are working for, and where they are working in CSR. We need this list so that, on behalf of PATF, we may connect with them and try to support PATF teachers to do some CSR activities in their states/schools.
3. Get some ideas which PATF can discuss and plan something unique.
