Advance Increments will be payable to Awardee Teachers of Haryana State

State Teacher Award Policy-2016 and 2020, there is a provision of two advance increments along with dearness allowance for entire future service. In this regard, a clarification dated 19.10.2020 was received from Finance Department vide which, it was advised to make a rectification in this provision as per HCS (Pay)/(Allowance)/(General) Rules, 2016. It is, therefore, decided that the pay of those teachers who have been awarded National/State/U.T Chandigarh Teacher Awards may be re-fixed as per Rule-37 of HCS (Pay) Rules-2016, however, while fixing their pay, the advance increments will be payable with the approval of competent authority w.e.f. 1 October of the year in which the award has been given.
